Welcome Cocktail

Monday evening, July 16, 2006 - The Welcome cocktail will be held in the restaurant on the first floor of the Prague Congress Centre, in the area providing a wonderful view of Prague.

Conference Dinner

Thursday evening, July 19, 2006 – Participants are invited to the New Town Hall (Novoměstská radnice), where the Conference Dinner in a buffet style will be held.

The price is included in the fee, the price for additional tickets is 1.300 CZK. No passenger services will be provided, participants should use public transport.

The historical building is situated at one of the most famous Prague town centre squares "Karlovo náměstí". From its windows several of Wenceslas IV's Catholic councillors were flung out to their deaths in 1419 by followers of the Hussite preacher Jan Zelivsky. Thus the expression "defenestration" (throwing out of the window) received a new meaning and Czechs a new “political” tactic.
