Excursion and tours

 

We offer tours with a professional English-speaking guide. The prices are not included in the registration fee. Participants who like to take part in tours are asked to fill in the registration form. In the case of an insufficient number of interested persons, tour can be cancelled and a contingent deposit will be refunded to participants afterwards.

 

Prague Castle

A walk around the castle courtyards with our guide. You will have a chance to visit St. Vitus Cathedral with its crypt and tower, Old Royal Palace including the exhibition "The Story of Prague Castle", St. George's Basilica, Golden Lane and Daliborka Tower.

 

Walk through the Old Town

We will show you the historic centre of the capital city. From the Powder Tower we will walk along the Royal Route to the Old Town Square, where you will find the Old Town Hall with its astronomical clock and apostles, surrounded by examples of Baroque architecture. You can see St. Nicholas Church and the Týn Church. Our walk will continue along Parizska Street (Art Nouveau), through the former Jewish Quarter to the Rudolfinum. From here we can offer you a magical view of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Then we will return to the Old Town Square, where the tour ends.

 

Vyšehrad Castle

Many ancient legends regard Vysehrad as the original seat of the Czech princes. You will see the most ancient buildings at Vysehrad: The St. Martin rotunda from the 11th century, and the wonderful gothic St. Peter’s and St.Paul’s Basilica. The underground casemates contain the originals of several baroque statues from Charles Bridge. There is also a park and cemetery with the tombs of famous representatives of Czech cultural history. Vyšehrad reflects the atmosphere of magic and mystery. It offers to visitors one of the most beautiful urban panoramas of bygone Europe, quiet parks for relaxation, and true cultural and spiritual inspiration.

 

Lesser Town & Charles Bridge

You will visit the Church of our Lady Victorious where you can find the world known Infant of Prague, then the St. Nicholas church: The tour will continue in walking through the Lesser town over the Charles Bridge.

 

Český Krumlov

The UNESCO town offers its medieval character thanks to its narrow lanes and many picturesque historical buildings mentioned in historical sources already in the 13th century.

The castle of Cesky Krumlov is after Prague Castle the 2nd biggest castle of Bohemia. The former seat of powerful Lords of Rozmberk’s and Schwarzenberg’s contains rich collections of period furniture and historical weapons. In the park you can admire a unique castle theatre from the 18th century. After a guided tour of the castle we will take you through the historical centre and for a short rest to one of many stylish and cosy pubs.

 

Jewish Prague

This is a trip to the Jewish history. During this walking tour you will see the only Central European Jewish town-quarter that survived the holocaust. You will stroll through the Old Jewish Cemetery, visit some of the six preserved synagogues and Kafka’s house. You will walk along Maislova Street and reach the Old Town Square where your journey ends. The price includes admission to the Jewish Museum and the Old Jewish Cemetery.
