This East West Fund provides grants to individual physicists working in and originating from less favoured European countries. The rules for obtaining grants through the East-West Fund by participants to Sponsored Conference and eligible countries are given at http://www.fzu.cz/varia/ewtf

The deadline for applications in the case of the NCM10 conference is June 30, 2006.

The most important criteria are:

               ·    The proposal is supported by the national society,

               ·    Preferably the age of the applicant under 40 years,

               ·    Active participation in the conference (an accepted contribution).
